Our Nature Residence Dolomitenhof is situated outside the centre of Siusi (1000m above sea level) only 3 walking minutes. Siusi lies below the Alpe di Siusi and the Sciliar massif.

It is surrounded by the Sciliar national park with its rich and varied alpine flora and fauna and Siusi is situated in a large, wind sheltered hollow far above the Val d’Isarco.

Siusi has become a famous mountain resort for European aristocrats around the turn of the century before the Great War. Especially in the years after the Great War many European personalities visited the great Hotels of Siusi. To name just the most famous: King Friedrich August of Saxony, Ibsen, Max Valier, Arturo Toscanini and Russian aristocrats. Some of these personalities chose to remain in Siusi and several villas, estates and castle like hotels show that the high class tourism of the Sciliar area started in Siusi.
